September Love

Inspired by the new song from Green Day, Oh Love and a music video involving with Spike and Sweetie Belle [link], I've decided to draw a picture. It took a while to do this, plus drawing the ruby was a pain in an ass. Anyway. I'm glad that I've finished it.

It's near the end of summer. The Cutie Mark Crusaders had a lot of fun over the summer. During their playtime, Spike came along to play with them.
It's almost school time, so now there is one last thing to do. Spike has to go sit on a lonely bench in a field and wait for Sweetie Belle to come. He's holding a fire ruby that was supposed to for Rarity, but instead, Rarity return it back to him. He wonders if Rarity rejects it or not, but Rarity said that keep it for something even better, probably a gift for someone closer, possibly any members of the CMC. Plus, none of the CMC haven't seen the ruby themselves except for Sweetie Belle herself.
Sweetie Belle then came in front of Spike with her holding a dandelion-like flower with a happy face on it, drawn.
"Oh hey Sweetie Belle," Said Spike.
"Hi Spike!" Sweetie Belle responded.
"So, um, wassup?"
"I'm fine, how about you?" Sweetie Belle then begin to sit with Spike. Spike take a deep breath and he begin to feel a little tense, or nervous. He clenched the fire ruby very hard.
"I'm fine." Spike responded. Sweetie Belle then began to smile.
"Is that a fire ruby?" Sweetie Belle asked as she point at the fire ruby. Spike look at the fire ruby that he's holding.
Now he remember. This ruby that Rarity return might be a perfect summer gift for Sweetie Belle.
"Yes, and this is for you, just a souvenir before going back to school, well not me, but you, well it's for all the time we have spend together with you, Scootaloo and Applebloom and I just..." He hand the ruby to Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle then smile with gleefulness as she held the ruby.
"That's the same gift you gave to Rarity! Thank you!" Sweetie Belle shouted with joy. She put the ruby down the grass near the bench.
"You're welcome," Spike blushed.
"I also have a gift for you too!" She gave the dandelion to Spike. Spike find it as a simple gift.
"Why thank you..."
"No silly!" Sweetie Belle interrupted.
"Oh, then what is it?" Spike asked with wonder.
"The real gift from me is a secret!"
"Ok, then..."
"Just close your eyes..." Spike then closed his eyes with reluctance.
"Ok, so what is it?" Suddenly, Spike felt a smooch onto his cheek. Sweetie Belle is actually kissing Spike in the cheek and it was a gift for him. Spike then lost his breath and experience the same love feeling from Rarity's kiss. This time, it felt even better, as if someone really love him, and it was her sister! He felt frozen, that he dropped the dandelion.
Meanwhile, Rarity is walking back home after her grocery, then she saw Sweetie Belle kissing Spike on the cheek. Rarity then hid in a bush and watched Sweetie Belle kissing Spike, who was paralyzed by the kiss.
"Awwwww, I never knew my own little sister has a crush on Twilight's number-one assistant, they would make such a cute couple," Said Rarity as she starts to enjoy watching a moment of Sweetie Belle and Spike.
Applebloom starts to enjoy this as well, but Scootaloo...
